Passeggiando lungo il Gianicolo a Roma, dopo la Chiesa di Sant’Onofrio, si nota sulla sinistra la celebre “Quercia del Tasso” alla cui ombra il poeta, durante gli ultimi giorni della sua vita sedeva a riflettere , un tronco ormai secco e annerito dal tempo, colpito da un fulmine già nel 1843.
